Tour Package Itinerary
Day 1 – January 30
- Arrival in Manila
- Pick you up in the airport and then transfer to 1898 Hotel for overnight stay.
Day 2 – January 31
Pagsanjan Falls Trip
- On this day, after breakfast pick up at the hotel and drive on the way to Laguna.
- We will be driving around 3 hours to the Town of Pagsanjan located in Laguna.
- Along the way we shall view the Beauty of vast rice field, the Filipino local community and lifestyle, some historical places and attraction. And while on the way to Pagsanjan falls we shall stop over just for the toilet if needed.
Located in Laguna, Pagsanjan Falls is one of the most visited tourist spot south of Manila and is the place where the movie “Apocalypse Now” with Marlon Brando was shot. Vast rice fields and coconut plantation can be seen along the way from the riverside resort
Pagsanjan Falls (indigenous name: Magdapio Falls) is one of the most famous waterfalls in the Philippines. Located in the province of Laguna, the falls is one of the major tourist attractions in the region. The falls are reached by a river trip on dugout canoe, known locally as “Shooting the rapids”, originating from the municipality of Pagsanjan. The boat ride has been an attraction since the Spanish Colonial Era with the oldest written account in 1894. The town of Pagsanjan lies at the confluence of two rivers, the Balanac River and the Bumbungan River (also known as the Pagsanjan River).
Arrival in Pagsanjan Falls:
- We will take a small boat shooting the Rapids boats (Banca) more or less 1 hour and 45 minutes to the main “Most Famous Waterfalls in the Philippines”.
- Enjoy this exciting ride as the boat is skilfully maneuverer upstream by two expert boatmen.
- While we were heading to the main taller falls, we shall stop by to the first falls, “Talahib Falls” for some great viewing and picture taking for about 10 minutes, and then proceed to the biggest waterfalls of the Philippines where you can see and enjoy.
- After spending some time at the falls, return downstream by ‘shooting the rapids’– your boatmen will steer past huge boulders in churning waters at top speeds for a fun, exhilarating ride!
- Please make sure to bring extra clothes since you will be wet and covers for your camera, wallet and cellphone.
- Wear light dress.
- After 2 hours of boating adventure, back to the Lodge.
- Change your wet clothes in the shower room, and then proceed to Pagsanjan lodge.
- Drive back on the way to Manila.
- Stay overnight at 1898 Hotel Makati
Day 3 – February 1
Manila City Tour
- After breakfast at the hotel, pick up then proceed to Manila City Tour.
- Travel time approximately 30 minutes from Intramuros.
- The tour it takes 4 to 5 hours.
- After the tour proceed to a group dinner .
- Stay overnight at 1898 Hotel
- Rest and Leisure.
Discover historical sites within Manila. Visit sites like: the famous Rizal Park, the Manila American Cemetery – the largest and most beautiful of American memorials outside the Continental U.S. and its memorial with its 17,206 marble stones
The tour continues with a visit to San Agustin Church, the oldest stone church in the city which has a museum of religious and secular art. In addition we will also visit Barrio San Luis which is a complex of reconstructed housing from the 19th century.
Day 4 – Feb 2
Manila – Cauayan flight
- pick up at around and proceed to Terminal 3 for your flight to Cauayan airport.
- ETD 0700 am and ETA is 0840 am
- Upon arrival to Cauayan airport pick up then drive directly to Banaue Ifugao.
- Travel time approximately 4 hours.
- Upon arrival check in at Banaue Hotel & Youth Hostel
- Dinner in the hotel followed by a cultural show.
- Stay overnight at Banaue Hotel & Youth Hostel
The Banaue Rice Terraces (Tagalog: Hagdan-hagdangPalayanngBanawe) are 2,000-year old terraces that were carved into the mountains of Ifugao in the Philippines by ancestors of the indigenous people. The Rice Terraces are commonly referred to by Filipinos as the “Eighth Wonder of the World”. It is commonly thought that the terraces were built with minimal equipment, largely by hand. The terraces are located approximately 1500 metres (5000 ft.) above sea level and cover 10,360 square kilometres (about 6000 square miles) of mountainside. They are fed by an ancient irrigation system from the rainforests above the terraces. It is said that if the steps are put end to end it would encircle half the globe.
Day 5 – Feb 3
Batad trek or Banga – an Village trek
- After breakfast proceed to the view point of the rice terraces of Banaue. From there you will head to Batad saddle where the trek down to Batad village begins.
- The way to the saddle point will take around 1 hour off-road.
- From the saddle it takes the average hiker about 1.5 hours to reach Batad down to the village.
- Trek down to the village is not a piece of cake. The journey entails bumpy and muddy paths.
- Expect to hike and passes through other rice terraces, villages, river crossings, and a rainforest. You will cross the village and will climb up to the rice terraces view point where you can see the whole valley and the village at the center
- Upon reaching Batad, enjoy the moment of accomplishment of the trek, visit the village and marvel at the clever way with which the terraces were built.
- If there is enough time and energy you will be visiting the falls behind the mountain. About 30 minutes hike from the village.
- Batad village is located in the center of the fascinating Rice Terraces Valley. Upon your arrival to the village you will meet the locals, the natives who live there.
- Trek back to the saddle point is much more strenuous and time consuming than getting there because you have to trudge up the steep mountainous path from Batad to the Saddle.
- Drive down to Banga-an Village for another visit to one of UNESCO WORLD Heritage and after the trek take a walk up to road which the Off road jeepney is waiting.
- Travel time approximately 2 hours back to the proper town.
Batad is a village in the close vicinity of Banaue which looks like a mega-concert stadium venue where the bleachers are row after row of perfectly sculptured green rice terraces.Batad is a village deep in the mountains that is known for its rice terraces which have been built in concentric circles down the mountain sides like an amphitheatre with the village right in the middle. Banga-an Village Trek
- This visit to Bangaan is an introduction to the mountain tribes and is a prelude to visits to other villages.
- The walk from the road down to the village and back up takes no longer than 1 ½ hours.
- It’s only a 700-step easy hike down to the town itself. Bangaan is recommendable to travellers who are unable to visit Batad because of time or fitness limitations.
- It’s an easy 15-minute hike from the road down to the Bangaan village.
- After the tour, drive back to Banaue town proper
- Dinner in Banaui hotel.
- Stay overnight at Banaue Hotel & Youth Hostel
The Village of Bangaan Nestled in the Valley Below
It’s described as the tiniest cluster of terraced rice fields you will see in Mountain Province. Standing at a single vantage point on the western end, you can look down and see them all. It’s only a 700-step easy hike down to the town itself. Bangaan is recommendable to travelers who are unable to visit Batad because of time or fitness limitations. It’s an easy 15-minute hike from the road down to the Bangaan village. There’s also Guihob Natural Pool, a cold mountain-spring pool.
Day 6 – Feb 4
Hapao Village
- After breakfast pick you up at the hotel and drive to the Hapao Village
- Travel time from Banaue town proper more or less 1 hour.
- The junction of the road leading to the Hapao is about half way between Banaue town proper and the View Point. This narrow road winds around the mountains with some great views of rice terraces.
- The trek down to the village is easy. It is recommendable to those who are unable to visit the Batad.
- We shall explore the villages and meet the local who leaves there.
- Hapao Terraces is the oldest and widest stone walled.
- After the sightseeing and light trekking, drive back to Banaue town proper.
- Dinner in Banaui hotel.

Day 7 – Feb 5
Drive Back to Manila
- After breakfast at the hotel, pick up then proceed to drive directly in Manila
- While on the way, we shall stop for some refreshment along the way.
- Travel time approximately 9 hours.
- Upon arrival in Manila check in 1898 hotel.
- Dinner
Day 8 – Feb 6
Drive to Puerto Galera
- After the Taal Volcano activity proceed to drive in Puerto Galera.
- Travel time approximately 2 hours.
- Upon arrival to Batangas Port transfer by Private Boat.
- Boat ride it takes 1 hour and 20 minutes.

Puerto Galera is a soothing vision of shimmering seas surrounded by lush mountains. It is considered one of the most beautiful and developed beach resort community in the country.
There are a thousand things one can do here. Landlubbers can pitch tents, light bonfires, play volleyball, toss a Frisbee, go beach-hopping, watch the sunset, gaze at the stars, hike, go rock climbing, carom off on a motorcycle, discover Oriental Mindoro’s other tourist spots or simply live it up.
But water is certainly the main attraction of the island. Crystal clear and shimmering especially during the hot summer months, the sea framing Puerto Galera is ideal for swimming, sailing, surfing, snorkelling and scuba diving. In fact one doesn’t have to go by boat to get to a dive site. Within a kilometer from the coast, schools of Moorish idols, trumpet fish, frog fish, lion fish and leaf fish weave in and out of thriving corals and sea anemones while species of starfish – from the speckled red-and-white to the neon-blue Pacific – rest on the sandy floor.
Day 09 – Feb 7
Island Hopping in Puerto Galera
- After breakfast at the resort, prefer for the Island Hopping in Puerto Galera
- Explore the beaches around Puerto Galera
- Island Hopping in Puerto Galera is one of the most visited of tourist.
- After the Island Hopping proceed to Mangyan Village
Mangyan Village Visit
- It takes 15 minutes only going to the village
- Meet the local residence and know the history of them
- After the visit back to the resort and rest and leisure
- Dinner in the resort.
Day 10– Feb 8
Back to Manila
- After breakfast at the hotel, pick up the proceed to Sabang Wharf for your boat ride back to Manila.
- Travel time approximately 3 hours.
- Upon arrival to Manila proceed to 1898 hotel for overnight stay.
- Dinner with folklore show in Barbara restaurant.
Day 11 – Feb 11
Departure Time
- After breakfast at the hotel, pick up and drop off to airport for your flight back to your destination.
